Owner and pharmacist, Colin Valenta, is committed to making your experience at Dougherty Pharmacy as positive as possible.  Colin is from the Binghamton, area and attended pharmacy school in Albany.  He has worked for a chain in the past but immediately knew that he could better serve his patients in the independent setting.  When the opportunity came to purchase Dougherty Pharmacy in Morrisville in 2015 he could not pass up the opportunity to carry on the tradition of great service that the pharmacy has provided to the community.  It was shortly after in 2017 the Hamilton location was opened.  He is married to his wife Shawna and they have four children, Aiden, Abigail,  Alex, and Amelia.  He enjoys spending time with his friends and family at the lake in the summer and skiing in the winter.
